The National Minority Franchising Initiative has compiled its annual list of the "50 Top Franchises for Minorities," appearing in a recent issue of USA Today. Among the hundreds of companies requesting evaluation, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based The New Miami Subs Grill has been named among the Top 50 Franchises for Minorities, based on both the number of operating units owned by minorities and the number of minorities in senior management earning more than $60,000 per year.
The New Miami Subs Grill recently joined the The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, dedicated to advancing the commercial, financial, educational and civic interests of the growing Hispanic Community of South Florida and serving as a resource center and forum to advocate for Hispanic and minority-owned businesses.
Following franchising expansion efforts in South America and the announcement of musician Pitbull as an equity partner in the company, The New Miami Subs Grill introduced the Latin Fusion menu during National Hispanic Heritage Month.
