LYFE Kitchen has added The Honorable William Daley as its newest member of the board of directors.
Daley most recently served as White House Chief of Staff to President Barack Obama and has extensive knowledge of public policy and business affairs.
"It's an honor to have someone of Mr. Daley's stature join our board," Mike Roberts, LYFE Kitchen's CEO, said in a news release. "His experience in both the public and private sector, as well as on some of the most prestigious Fortune 100 Boards, is exceptional. We understand that numerous organizations have approached Mr. Daley about joining their boards. He chose LYFE Kitchen because he believes strongly that it's a transformational, socially responsible restaurant LYFESTYLE brand, which is addressing the most significant unmet need facing Americans today — great-tasting food that is convenient, affordable and good for you."
Daley served as President Obama's Chief of Staff from January 2011 until January 2012. He was involved in all aspects and issues, both domestic and foreign.

Earlier this month, LYFE announced aggressive growth plans, including its second restaurant location which will open in Culver City, Calif. in January 2013.
