California Tortilla has announced their 25th consecutive month of sales growth. The record-setting streak measures month-to-month growth in sales across the chain.

“Over two years of growth in a down economy means that we are truly resonating with our audience, serving fresh food at a great value in an atmosphere people enjoy,” said president Bob Phillips. “We’ve used our Burrito Elito loyalty program and social media marketing to engage and reward our customers in creative ways over the past 27 months.”

California Tortilla also has increased their charitable presence, with recent donations to Manna Food Center, DC Central Kitchen and Philabundance, while announcing a $25,000 pledge for 2012 to No Kid Hungry.

“When customers enjoy fresh food, appreciate the value, experience a good time and know they are supporting fantastic causes, they will come back and hopefully bring friends with them,” Phillips said.

In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, the company is hosting its “Cuatro and Cinco de Mayo” deal, where customers who make any purchase May 4 and 5 will receive a coupon for a free taco, valid May 6-15.  

The free tacos are one per customer and must be redeemed within the window.
