FastCasual.com is seeking nominations for this year's Top 100 Movers & Shakers, set to publish in March. The 2012 Top 100 Movers & Shakers is being expanded to include the top brands, people, food, trends and technology that have moved the segment forward for the year.
Past winners include Firehouse Subs, MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, Au Bon Pain, Chipotle, Panera Bread and Raving Brands.
Now in its eighth year, the 2012 ranking will expand in focus to include people, technology, industry trends and menu innovation. Once nominations are received, the top performers in each category will be ranked by a panel of industry executives.
"We are excited to expand our industry focus this year as the people, technology and menu innovations are important components of the brands we track and cover," said Valerie Killifer, senior editor of FastCasual.com. "In regard to nominations, the impact comes from what is said, not how many times we receive a nomination."
