Yogurt Mountain LLC has opened its 40th store. The new location is in Huntsville, Ala., marking its 9th in the state.

"Huntsville's continued expanding market and economic growth in 2011 along with local consumer request made it an attractive market and natural choice for a location," said David Kahn, president and CEO of Yogurt Mountain LLC. "The addition of our 9th store in Alabama further supports our goal of making Yogurt Mountain a household name in our home state."

Guests were treated to the first 6 ounces for free at an open house celebration held earlier this week.

The brand now has 40 stores open in 15 states.
