Capriotti's Sandwich Shop fans can dance for free food. A new application on Capriotti's Facebook page allows customers to upload a 35-second video of them doing a CAPpy Dance which is defined as "the sudden, primal and rhythmic exuberance one experiences after learning a visit to Capriotti's is imminent."
Capriotti's Facebook fans will then have until Oct. 3 to vote on their favorite video. Winners will be announced Oct. 5. Prizes include a free small sandwich for all participants who entered a video and five runner ups will also win a free-subs-for-a-year prize. The grand prize for the best CAPpy dance will win "35 Years of Free Capriotti's Subs."
"We love how motivated and creative our customers are, and this is why we wanted everyone to show us the little dances of joy they do when they decide they are going to eat a Capriotti's sub," said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti's. "We are excited to see people's CAPpy Dances and engage all of our fans on the new Facebook App."
