Mobibucks, a leading provider of mobile commerce solutions to the restaurant industry, has announced that Florida-based Field of Greens, a custom salad and sandwich eatery, will launch its Mobibucks mobile marketing and payment solution. The program will initially be available at the shop’s West Palm Beach, Fla., location.
Field of Greens will first launch Mobibucks’ couponing program. Customers will receive coupon offers via text messages, which they can easily redeem by entering their cell phone number and PIN into a Mobibucks keypad at the register.
Mobibucks also offers payment and incentive products for making purchases using a mobile phone number and 4-digit PIN. Consumer accounts are stored in a “cloud-based value account,” which makes it possible for cashless transactions and virtual sales promotions through existing POS systems.
“Mobibucks offers an innovative, easy to implement solution to customers because they can easily pay using any cell phone, not just a smart phone, without the hassle of taking out their wallet or bringing a purse with them. They only need to know their cell phone number,” said Debbie Lakow, owner of Field of Greens. “Mobibucks also gives us the opportunity to communicate directly to customers on a regular basis, updating them on special offers, promotions and new menu items.”
Field of Greens is the first restaurant in South Florida to deploy the Mobibucks mobile marketing and payments program. In addition to its West Palm Beach location, the eatery has two others in Palm Beach Gardens and Wellington, Fla.
