Zpizza has awarded its highest honor, "Franchisee of the Year," to Cesar and Karen Llarenas of Kailua, Hawaii.
"Every year we select a franchisee, based on quantitative and qualitative factors, that has gone above and beyond to embody our brand," said Chris Bright, president, Zpizza. "Cesar and Karen are extremely progressive and their leadership and ideas set a great example for our other franchisees."
Llarenas owns and operates two Zpizza locations in Hawaii, in Honolulu at Ward Centre Auahi Street Shops and in Kailua at the new eco-friendly 151 Hekili Street building, which opened November of 2010.
"We take pride in all the quality that goes into our ingredients and all of our menu items, along with our eco-friendly environment," said Cesar Llarenas.
Besides moving into an energy-efficient building in Kailua, both locations use only compostable packaging, from pizza boxes to carry out bags.
