Elevation Burger has signed a multi-unit agreement with real estate veteran Nael Mustafa to build restaurants throughout Bahrain. The first location is slated to open in Seef Mall Bahrain in the second quarter of 2011.
“This month, the first organic supermarket will open in Bahrain, which will set the tone for healthy living and better-quality food alternatives in the area,” Mustafa said. “Not only am I excited about Elevation Burger’s great-tasting, better-for-you menu items, but I’m also confident this investment will prosper given my background in real estate and investment banking.”
Currently, Mustafa manages all real estate in the Middle East and India for the investment firm Arcapita. His responsibilities include the origination and structuring of real estate in addition to the management of existing portfolio investments and global real estate activities. Prior to joining Arcapita in 2003, Mustafa spent 13 years with various investment banks in Bahrain and covered the GCC through a wide range of investment sectors and asset classes.
