La Madeleine Country French Cafés are adding new options to their everyday Smart Choices menu. The items are available now through March 7.
All Smart Choices options are 450 to 600 calories or less. New menu items include:
Shrimp and Tilapia Provencal -- Roasted shrimp and tilapia, onions, fresh basil, kalamata olives and roasted garlic simmered in white wine-infused with Reduced Fat Tomato Basil Soupe, served over rice Provencal. $8.99. Approx. 460 calories.
Stuffed French Toast -- Seven-grain bread stuffed with cream cheese, fresh strawberries and blueberries dipped in a light egg batter and sautéed until golden, served with syrup for dipping. $4.99. Approx. 420 calories.
Turkey & Cheddar Omelette Sandwich -- Our signature blend of light eggs scrambled with sautéed turkey and mushrooms with a touch of cheddar on flatbread, served with fruit. $4.99. Approx. 420 calories.
Breakfast Strata -- Fresh spinach, tomatoes and Swiss cheese mixed with sourdough bread then baked in a light egg custard. $5.49. Approx. 250 calories.
Tilapia Rustique -- Tilapia simmered in Chardonnay and sun-dried tomato pesto with fresh bell peppers and Roma tomatoes. Served with Rice Provencal. $8.99. Approx. 500 calories.
Skinny Mini Fresh Fruit and Yogurt Parfait -- Parfait of creamy yogurt layered with fresh mandarin oranges, strawberries, blueberries and grapes. $1.69. Approx. 500 calories.
