Jamba Juice Company and Drybar have announced its CEOs will team up on the Dec. 16 episode of Bloomberg Television's "Bloomberg The Mentor" to discuss how a small business with overnight success can sustain and grow in an increasingly popular market.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience at top Fortune 500 companies, James D. White, Jamba Juice's president, chairman and CEO, provides critical advice on building a solid business model, infrastructure and support system to marketing aficionado Michael Landau whose specialty hair blowout business has boomed since launching in early 2010.
Receiving an inside look at the Drybar business including a tour of its Brentwood, Calif. location, White learns about its features, customers, employees and functionalities firsthand. And while getting your hair blown out isn't exactly the same product offering as a Jamba Juice smoothie, from 'menu' options to marketing materials, White provides Landau with sound feedback on the business. In the head to head portion of the show, White gives Landau a big picture perspective, helping him to consider key elements Drybar will need to successfully grow the company over a multi-year period, including how to succeed with franchise expansion.
