Panchero's Mexican Grill has announced the hiring of Gary Matusiak as the company's new vice president of franchise development. Matusiak joins the team from Fransmart Inc., where he was senior director of franchise development.
"I am very excited to be heading up development for a company like Panchero's," Matusiak said. "I really believe in this concept and I'm confident that we will continue to grow. I think my eight years of franchise experience combined with the great quality of food at Panchero's will lead to successful development."
Panchero's currently has more than 50 locations in 17 states and the company plans to have 60 restaurants open across the country by the end of 2011. This aggressive growth will be fueled by multi-unit franchise operators, especially those with experience in the restaurant industry. Most existing franchisees either currently operate or plan to open multiple locations.
