Smashburger has partnered with STL Smash LLC to introduce Smashburger's "burger magic" to St. Louis through the opening of 12 locations there.
The St. Louis Smashburger restaurant will be Missouri's first and will feature regional menu items created especially for the city's unique culinary heritage.
STL Smash will open the units over four years. The company is headed by president Dave Schweitzer, who has more than 16 years of successful franchise restaurant experience with Subway. He has been recognized as Best New Regional Subway Franchisee and is known for his focus on customer service, smooth operations and focus on superior staffing.
"As a franchisee, you don't have anything if you don't have a fantastic product," he said. "When I first tasted a Smashburger, I knew it would be a great company with which to do business."
