Genghis Grill reaches 50 locations

Genghis Grill – The Mongolian Stir Fry, will open its 50th location September 4 in Houston.
"This milestone has been reached through collaboration and dedication from the teams that are operating our restaurants everyday along with our committed franchisees, vendors, and corporate staff," said Genghis Grill CEO Al Bhakta. "Ultimately, there is no doubt that the most credit should go to our fans that have helped us grow to 50 restaurants."
Frank Carney, who founded Pizza Hut in 1958, is part of the Houston franchisee group that will be open up the location. Genghis Grill has three other locations in the Houston metro area in the Woodlands, Clearlake and Bunkerhill.
In honor of the 50th restaurant opening, Genghis Grill will give away a commemorative T-shirt to the first 50 fans at each of its fifty locations on September 4. Also, $50 gift cards will be given away to lucky selected fans.
Ten more new restaurants are slated to open around the country in 2010. The first Genghis Grill opened in 1998 in Dallas.
