Boloco parent completes private equity offering

Boloco's parent company, Stellar Restaurant Group Holdings LLC, has completed a $5.5 million equity offering, according to an SEC filing.

Principals named in the filing are CEO John Pepper, executive officer Patrick Renna and directors M. Laird Koldyke and Jason Starr -- both of Winona Capital Management, a private investment firm in Chicago and Seattle. Other directors named are John Pepper Jr., Neal Yanofsky and Kevin Reddy.

John Pepper started the now-16-unit restaurant chain as part of his entrepreneurship project at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 1997. There are now 16 locations throughout the Boston region.
