Buffalo Wild Wings announces fourth-quarter results

MINNEAPOLIS — Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. announced financial results for the fourth quarter ended December 25, 2005. Total revenue increased 21.3 percent over the prior year to $59 million. Company-owned restaurant sales grew 21.3 percent over the prior year to $52.3 million. And fourth-quarter same-store sales increased 2.5 percent at company-owned restaurants and 2.6 percent at franchised restaurants over the prior year.

Average weekly sales for company-owned restaurants were $33,953 for the fourth quarter of 2005 compared to $33,038 for the same quarter last year, a 2.8-percent increase. Franchised restaurants averaged $42,533 for the period versus $40,926 in the fourth quarter a year ago, a 3.9-percent increase.
