Caribou Coffee announce preliminary Q1 results

MINNEAPOLIS — Caribou Coffee reported preliminary first quarter for period ended April 2. According to a news release, comparable coffeehouse net sales were down 1 percent.

The company expects total revenue for the quarter will increase 24 percent over the same period in the prior year. It did not report preliminary same-store sales. Ten company-owned Caribou Coffee stores were opened during the quarter.
