National Restaurant Association board elects new officers, directors

CHICAGO — The National Restaurant Association Board of Directors elected Edward R. Tinsley III, FMP, chairman of the board.

Tinsley is the president and chief executive of Tinsley Hospitality Group LLC, a Santa Fe, N.M.-based restaurant intellectual property company and master franchisor of K-BOB'S Steakhouses, which franchises operations of 22 stores located in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado.

In addition, Richard E. Rivera, FMP, chairman and CEO of Rubicon Enterprises LLC, in Sarasota, Fla., was elected as vice chairman of the Board; and Michael S. Kaufman, president of Pond Hill Ventures LLC, in Chappaqua, NY, was elected as treasurer.
