GOLDEN, Colo. — Boston Market restaurants raised more than $270,000 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation during May and June.
The chain sold certificate books offering more than $40 in savings on some of Boston Market's most popular meals and sold for $1 each.
"We're proud to support this great cause and to be part of something that is important to our guests, our team members and in the communities in which we do business," said Mike Andres, president and chief executive officer of Boston Market. "We enjoy this annual opportunity to support breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment."
Boston Market introduced the certificate book program in 2004. In the three years since the program's inception, Boston Market guests have helped raise more than $920,000 for the Komen Foundation.
