MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. — Sheri Miksa, the former chief executive officer for Rubio's Restaurants, has accepted the CEO position at Robeks Corporation, a premium retail smoothie and juice franchising company.
Miksa was selected by the company's board of directors and interim president and CEO, Tony Gioia. Robeks currently has 95 franchise locations in 17 states and plans to open its 100th unit later this year.
"I am excited to be leading this company which has substantial growth potential in an expanding category," Miksa said.
According to a news release, Miksa re-invigorated the Rubio's brand and made it a publicly traded company. Her prior executive roles include chief operating officer of Seattle Coffee Company, vice president of operations at LSG Sky Chefs and senior director of operations at Taco Bell Corporation.
