ST. LOUIS — Panera Bread Co. reported system-wide comparable bakery-cafe sales increased 3.2 percent (made up of a 2.9 percent increase at company-owned units and a 3.3 percent increase at franchised units) for the four weeks ended Oct. 24, 2006.
 
According to a regulatory filing, year-to-date comps are up 4.7 percent (made up of a 4.6 percent increase at company units and a 4.7 percent increase at franchised units).
