DEDHAM, Mass. — Papa Gino's Holdings Corp. (PGHC), parent company of Papa Gino's Pizza and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, appointed two industry veterans to its operations team. (Read also Legendary pizzerias bet on fast-casual makeovers.)
According to a news alert, Paul Valle and Valentino "Tino" Mennitto bring a combined 50 years of experience to the company as its new vice president of information systems and director of research and development, respectively.
"We are thrilled to add two experienced, talented employees to our operations team," said Tom Galligan, chief executive and president of PGHC. "We have entrusted both Paul and Tino with mission-critical operations for our company and look to their leadership to streamline our operations and keep Papa Gino's and D'Angelo on the cutting-edge in technology and research and development."
Valle's responsibilities will include Papa Gino's and D'Angelo's long-term and short-term technology goals, and evaluating and streamlining technologies for the fast-casual chains' operations. Valle previously was the director of technology integration/business intelligence for Answerthink Inc. in New York.
Mennitto will direct new menu development, culinary procedures, R&D, product-quality and menu enhancements for both concepts. Mennitto has had a long culinary career with companies such as Hyatt Hotels and Seed Restaurant Group, parent of Fazoli's Restaurants.
