Associated Press: The chairman and chief executive of restaurant operator Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. sold 5,000 shares of common stock under a prearranged trading plan, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Tuesday.
 
In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Steve Ells reported that he sold the shares Tuesday for $50.85 to $51.30 apiece.
