Panera Bread Q4 comps up 2%

ST. LOUIS — Panera Bread Co. reported revenue increased 25 percent to $233 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 26, 2006, up from $186 million in the comparable period of 2005.

Company-owned same-store sales increased 1.6 percent, while franchise-comps were up 2.2 percent.

For the year, Panera comps rose 4.1 percent.
