Così sales flat in Q4, full year

DEERFIELD, Ill. — Cosi Inc. reported comparable-store sales for fourth quarter 2006 (measured for restaurants in operation for more than 15 months) increased 0.4 percent over the same period in 2005.

According to a news release, full-year comps increased 0.3 percent compared to 2005. Revenue for 2006 rose 8.3 percent to $126.9 million versus $117.2 million in 2005.

Despite the increase, Così said that it expects to post a loss of 18 cents per share.
