SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Kahala Cold Stone on May 17, announced that its subsidiary has completed the purchase of all Blimpie assets, including all Blimpie intellectual property rights formerly owned by Blimpie Associates Ltd. and Metropolitan Blimpie Inc.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed; however, Kahala Cold Stone did not assume any of Blimpie Associates Ltd., Metropolitan Blimpie Inc., or any of their affiliated entities outstanding obligations.

With the closing of this acquisition, Kahala Cold Stone is the sole worldwide owner of the Blimpie brand, including all worldwide Blimpie franchising rights and intellectual property.
