WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Restaurant Association June 25 sent a letter to senators expressing the importance of quickly moving forward with the debate on comprehensive immigration reform. 
 
NRA acting interim president and chief executive officer Peter Kilgore said failure to move the bill forward will likely postpone any type of immigration reform.
 
"The nation's badly broken immigration system simply cannot stand to wait that long," he said. "We hope that the Senate will recognize this unique opportunity to address perhaps the most critical domestic policy challenge this Congress faces."
