Buffalo Wild Wings reports 8% comp increase

MINNEAPOLIS — Same-store sales at Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. have increased 8 percent at company-owned restaurants for the second quarter ended July 1. Comps at franchised locations have increased 4 percent, the company also announced.

Total revenue increased 22 percent, up to $76 million for the quarter compared to $62 million for the same period last year.

Company-owned restaurant sales grew 23 percent for the quarter, up to nearly $66 million for the quarter. Company representatives said the increase was driven by the 8 percent comps increase and the launch of 16 company-owned restaurants in operation at the end of second quarter.
