BALTIMORE — The Mid-Atlantic Food, Beverage & Lodging Expo has announced a partnership agreement with the International Franchise Association to bring together the following groups during the Sept. 19-20, 2007, expo at the Baltimore Convention Center:
- FranPoint Partners LLC
- California Tortilla
- The Franchise Business and Law Group
The companies and supporting associates will host the International Franchise Association Franchising Panel Discussion. Panel speakers will include:
- Richard Sharoff of FranPoint Partners LLC: Sharhoff's track record includes senior VP of the Sara Lee Bakery Company; president and COO of Vie de France Corporation; chairman, president and CEO of MaggieMoo's International LLC.; and first area developer/franchisee for Boston Market.
- David Cahn of Franchise Business and Law Group: Cahn has served on the board for the Maryland State Bar Association's Business Law section and is the founder of Franchise and Business Law Group.
- Bob Phillips of California Tortilla: Phillips is an active franchisee with a growing list of markets available for franchise development.
The free panel seminar will take place at 10 a.m. Sept. 19 in room 330 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
