• Firehouse Subs goes trans-fat free

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Firehouse Subs has announced that all of its ingredients are now trans-fat free. This includes items at all Firehouse Subs restaurants, totaling 289 in 14 states.
 
"Our top priority continues to be the satisfaction and well-being of our valued customers," said Don Fox, chief operating officer of Firehouse Subs. "It was the responsible choice to eliminate trans fats from the few menu items that previously contained them."
 
Fox added that all Firehouse Sub sandwiches and salads always have had zero trans fats and only dessert offerings required a change in formulation.
