Zaxby's signs with MICROS

COLUMBIA, Md. — MICROS Systems Inc. has signed a deal with chicken-finger restaurant chain Zaxby's Franchising Inc. to provide point-of-sale technology for its 75 company-owed and 325 franchised Zaxby's locations. An initial 100 corporate and franchised stores will deploy MICROS technology by January 2008, with the remaining location upgrades to follow.

Additionally, the menus at all Zaxby's locations will be controlled by MICROS Enterprise Management and the MICROS analytic "mymicros.net" will provide Zaxby's officials with access to real-time business intelligence and sales information from its franchisee base.
