CULVER CITY, Calif. — Randy Carucci has joined The Counter as its new chief development officer, the company announced.
Carucci's responsibilities include a continued focus on real estate and strategically growing the brand across the United States by overseeing the development of roughly 25 new restaurants per year for the next three years.
Prior to joining The Counter's team, Carucci helped build Panera Bread's southern California region as the chain's senior real estate manager, where he delivered 62 approved sites over a nearly three-year period. Before his position with Panera, Carucci served as vice president of real estate for Baja Fresh, overseeing an aggressive national expansion that opened roughly 200 new restaurants in two years and also was an integral player in the growth of Jamba Juice, Sunglass Hut and Cinnabon over the past 10 years.
