MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Famous Dave's of America Inc. has announced the promotion of Andy Simpson to the position of vice president of construction and design, and Jim Murphy to the position of vice president of franchise operations.
Simpson joined Famous Dave's in 2005 as the director of construction. In that role, he led the transformation of Famous Dave's development support team and contributed significantly to Famous Dave's Smokehouse prototype restaurant design, according to a news release.
Murphy also has been with Famous Dave's since 2005. Prior to his promotion, Murphy served as the company's franchise business consultant. As vice president of franchise operations, he will have increased responsibility for supporting the operations of franchise partners with services and consultations.
