DENVER — Quiznos has announced the launch of $2.00 gourmet flatbread sammies. The new sandwiches come in four varieties — Sonoma Turkey, Italiano, Alpine Chicken and Bistro Steak Melt.
"We took the name for a smaller sandwich known as "Sammies" in the Midwest and created a whole new sandwich category for the industry. Guests can now eat smaller gourmet portions without sacrificing flavor," said Steve Provost, Quiznos chief marketing officer.
Guests can choose to order sammies individually or order a flatbread sammies meal, which includes two flatbread sammies, one side and a regular fountain drink, for a recommended price of $5.99.
Sammie varieties include:
- Sonoma Turkey Sammies: Turkey, Chipotle Mayo, Pepper Jack Cheese, Spices, Romaine and Tomato Garnish
- Italiano: Salami, Capicola, Pepperoni, Basil Pesto, Mozzarella Cheese, Spices, Romaine and Tomato Garnish
- Alpine Chicken: Chicken and Bacon, Ranch Dressing, Swiss Cheese, Spices, Romaine and Tomato Garnish
- Bistro Steak Melt: Black Angus Steak, Mild Peppercorn Dressing, Mozzarella Cheese, Spices, Romaine and Tomato Garnish
