SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Teriyaki Experience has signed a franchise agreement with QSR International to open the first of five locations in Central America, the company has announced.
 
QSR International's overall goal is to open or franchise a total of 42 Teriyaki locations in Central and South America and the Caribbean.
 
As master franchisee for the region, QSR International is recruiting franchise candidates for 12 territories: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Suriname, Colombia, Aruba, Grand Cayman, Trinidad, Tobago and the Bahamas.
