ROCKVILLE, Md. — California Tortilla is featuring three "Incredible Edible Bowls" on the latest installment of its limited-time menu.
The Chili Bowl, Blackened Chicken Caesar Bowl and Fiesta Tortilla Soup Bowl will remain on the menu for several months and are all made in a completely edible tortilla shell. The items retail for $6.49.
"Our Limited Time Offer menu allows us to create even more variety in our food offerings than ever before," said California Tortilla president Bob Phillips. "The 'Incredible Edible Bowls' add a new twist to some of our favorite items that our customers will really enjoy."
Items include:
- Chili Bowl: Turkey chili, topped with shredded jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, jalapeno peppers and chopped green onions and served in an edible tortilla bowl.
- Blackened Chicken Caesar Bowl: Chopped romaine, blackened chicken, shredded jack cheese and fresh salsa, served in an edible tortilla bowl with a side of Caesar dressing.
- Fiesta Tortilla Soup Bowl: Chicken tortilla soup, Mexican rice, roasted vegetables and marinated chicken breast, served in an edible flour tortilla bowl and topped with sour cream, salsa and chopped green onions.
