DENVER — Chipotle Mexican Grill has named New York-based DeVito/Verdi its advertising agency of record, the company has announced.
The agency has been named the best small/medium-sized ad agency in the country for six of the past 10 years by the American Association of Advertising Agencies. Additionally, in 2007, the agency won top prize for "Best Use of Humor" at the E.A.R. Awards for Legal Sea Foods.
"Chipotle is one of the most successful restaurant companies in the country and a leader that is driving positive change in the industry," said Ellis Verdi, president of DeVito/Verdi. "Our job will be to help them get the credit they deserve as visionaries, and to help them continue to grow their business."
DeVito/Verdi's work for Chipotle will include a variety of advertising and creative assignments, including work on outdoor, print, radio, digital and nontraditional executions, as well as national media planning and buying. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
