FALLS CHURCH, Va. — The Foodservice Packaging Institute (FPI) has announced the release of its 2008 "State of the Industry Report."
The more than 200-page report seeks to provide a snapshot of the foodservice packaging industry and contains eight sections:
- Results of the 2008 Foodservice Packaging Industry Survey of Converters, Raw Material Suppliers and Machinery Suppliers;
- Results of the 2008 Foodservice Packaging Industry Survey of Foodservice Operators;
- Results of the 2008 Foodservice Packaging Industry Survey of Foodservice Distributors;
- News of the Industry (2007);
- Facts and Trends (2007);
- U.S. Domestic Statistics (1997-2006);
- U.S. Exports (2004-2007);
- and U.S. Imports (2004-2007).
The report is available only to FPI members, but an overview of it may be found on FPI's Web site, www.fpi.org, in the Foodservice Packaging Library.
