ATLANTA — PJ's Coffee of New Orleans has announced the introduction of yerba maté in its coffeehouses, now featured in PJ's Energy Latte for a limited time.
 
With a taste similar to Chai, yerba maté is an herbal green ‘tea' grown in the sub-tropical rain forest climate of Paraguay, Argentina and southern Brazil. PJ's Energy Latte provides as much caffeine as a strong brew of drip coffee and has more antioxidants than nine servings of green tea.
 
PJ's Coffee will offer its Energy Latte for a limited time at participating locations. The suggested retail price ranges from $2.95 for a small to $3.85 for a large.
