BURLINGTON, Vt. — Bruegger's Enterprises Inc. has announced a new development agreement with Five Star Equity Partners to build three Bruegger's bakeries in southern Connecticut. Five Star Equity Partners is lead by David Katz.
 
Katz's background in the culinary arts led him to his current position as general manager of the Wallingford, Conn.-based Bruegger's location.
 
He graduated from the Center for Culinary Arts in Cromwell, Conn., and, after honing his skills in several high-end restaurant kitchens in New Haven, decided to try his hand at management, starting as an assistant manager trainee with Bruegger's in 2005.
