Korean Starbucks deploy contactless payment

SDA Asia: Starbucks has announced that cash transactions in Korea soon will be considered a thing of the past as the company plans to roll out contactless payment there. Customers will be able to wave their Visa payWave-enabled card or mobile phone in front of the point-of-sale terminal, a transaction expected to take as little as four to six seconds.
