Raving Brand's sells PJs coffee to largest franchisee

NEW ORLEANS — Raving Brand's has announced the sale of its PJ's Coffee brand to the chain's largest franchisee, New Orleans Roast and New Orleans Brew, affiliates of the New Orleans-based Ballard family, who, in partnership with friends and local business owners intend to franchise operations regionally.

New Orleans Roast and New Orleans Brew own and operate five PJ's Coffee of New Orleans locations.

In addition to owning multiple PJ's locations, the Ballards also are the creators of the WOW CafÃ© and Wingery, now with 53 stores.

The New Orleans Roast and New Orleans Brew business model will focus on Louisiana and the greater Gulf Region, and increased wholesale distribution from PJ's Coffee's own roasting facility.
