PHOENIX — Wildflower Bread Co. has announced that its chief administrative officer, Alison Johnston, has been selected as the 2008 Volunteer of the Year by the Arizona Restaurant Association.

Johnston joined Wildflower Bread Co. early in 2007. In addition to managing the corporate office and supporting marketing efforts, Johnston has been involved with the Arizona Restaurant Association. Her involvement has resulted in several highly beneficial initiatives dedicated to educating local restaurateurs and promoting local economic growth, according to a news release.

Johnston will receive her award at the STAR gala July 9, as a part of the 2008 Governor's Conference on Tourism.
