LOMBARD, Ill. — Yogen FrÃ¼z has opened its third Illinois location in the city of Lombard, the company announced. The grand opening event was held July 11-12, 2008.

The store partnered with the Tri-Town YMCA and donated 10 percent of its opening-day profits to the charity.

The Lombard Yogen FrÃ¼z is one of 30 locations expected to open across the U.S. this year. The Canadian-based chain has already opened locations in San Francisco and two other Chicago suburbs (Orland Park and Schaumburg). The company, which was founded in 1986, has locations in Canada, Taiwan, Venezuela and Guatemala, to name a few.
