Bread & Co. earns Inc. 5,000 ranking

NASHVILLE — Inc. magazine has ranked Nashville, Tenn.-based Bread & Co. as one of America's 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the country.

This is the second year in a row Bread & Co. has made the Inc. 5,000 list. The company is in the top 50 in the Nashville-Davidson-Murfreesboro metro area and had revenues of $7.7 million in 2004. By 2007, revenue had increased to $11.1 million.

The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2004 and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Revenue in 2004 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2007 must have been at least $2 million.
