Panera earnings on track

Associated Press: Shares of Panera Bread Co. rose $1.45, or 3.1 percent, to end at $49. Panera stock bucked the overall market and rose Monday after the bakery-cafe chain reaffirmed its third-quarter profit guidance.

The company will report its third-quarter financial results Oct. 21.
