MINNEAPOLIS — Comparable store sales at Caribou Coffee Co. Inc. decreased 4.7 percent for the 13 weeks ended Sept. 28, 2008, compared with the same 13 weeks in the prior year. Year-to-date comparable coffeehouse net sales decreased 2.9 percent as compared with the same period last year. Franchised stores are not included in the comparable store sales calculations.
The company expects to release fiscal third quarter 2008 financial results after the market close on Nov. 6.
