MINNEAPOLIS — Caribou Coffee Co. will accept will accept mobile coupons from San Diego-based Cellfire in all its 443 retail locations, the company announced. Customers can receive $1 off any large drink or a free drink with purchase of a pound of coffee by using the Cellfire service.
Customers can subscribe to the Cellfire mobile coupon service at www.cellfire.com from their mobile Web browser or computer. The free service allows users to view and select from multiple offers across multiple merchants simultaneously.
They show the coupon offer code on their cell phone to the person at the register to receive the discount.
"Mobile coupons are an effective tool for increasing traffic, improving sales and rewarding loyalty," said Cellfire CEO Brent Dusing. "While consumers appreciate the convenient savings a mobile coupon provides, merchants like Caribou Coffee are able to use them to connect with their customers in a manner not achieved through other media given the phone is always with the consumer."
