• Chipotle to roll out sustainable cutlery

HAWTHORNE, Calif. — Cereplast Inc., a manufacturer of proprietary bio-based, sustainable plastics, has reported a supply agreement between HAVI/Perseco (HAVI) and Chipotle Restaurants, utilizing Cereplast's bio-based plastic.
 
HAVI will initially provide customers at Chipotle's Millbrae , Calif., restaurant with environmentally-sustainable plastic cutlery, manufactured exclusively using Cereplast Compostables resin. Use of the cutlery is expected roll out to up to 800 Chipotle locations in the near future.
