Beautiful Brands to franchise BBQ fast casual

Beautiful Brands International (BBI) has announced the addition of Dallas-based restaurant Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse to its portfolio of restaurants to market and franchise worldwide.
 
The agreement marks the first and only fast casual barbecue restaurant to join Beautiful Brands.
 
"Because of Sonny Bryan’s amazing barbecue and profitable business model, the franchising potential is enormous," said David Rutkauskas, BBI founder, president and CEO. "Their regional reputation for mouth-watering barbecue is well known, just like their commitment for friendly service. Camille and I are absolutely thrilled to welcome them into BBI’s growing family of Beautiful Brands."
 
The agreement between Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse and Beautiful Brands International will utilize BBI’s organizational and support system to market and franchise the brand on a national and global scale. BBI’s support will include marketing, real estate, architecture, legal, franchise sales, and other aspects of franchise development. Sonny Bryan’s will be positioned as a quick casual barbecue restaurant with a smaller footprint (about 2,800 square feet) and lower start-up costs than many of its competitors. It also will be equipped to handle any size catering event.
 
Founded in 1958 in Dallas, Sonny Bryan’s has grown to nine locations and 250 employees within the Dallas Fort-Worth Metroplex area.
 
Sonny Bryan’s is one of 13 concepts marketed and developed by Beautiful Brands International.
